This is what about:performance has to say:

I haven't done any in-depth profiling or inspection of the problem and I haven't tested it on other browsers, but it does seem to happen to all pages with them.

Platform details:

  • CPU: M1
  • OS: MacOS Ventura 13.4.1
  • Browser: Firefox 115.0.2
