Create a new rails 6 app with webpacker and some usefule defaults (2020)

templates

with postgresql and removed stuff

  rails new <APPNAME> -T \
  -d postgresql \
  --force \
  --skip-test \
  --skip-action-mailbox \
  --skip-spring

setup git with github

git init
git add .
git commit -m "init"
