When I turn on anything in the blog plugin, I get this error. What do I do wrong?

No worries! I'll check if we can somehow improve error reporting at this point 😊

I checked whether we can improve the behavior when --- are left out (and thus the MultiMarkdown parser is used), and think I have a good solution in squidfunk/mkdocs-material-insiders@e05cf6179. The problem was that while YAML parses the date as a date, MultiMarkdown returns it as a string. Both formats are supported by MkDocs, so the linked commit ensures that the date is previously converted to a date.

Hello, can you look at this? I fixed the previous project and experienced this. I first noticed the 2022 one, then I tried it with 2021 as well.

Hmm, possible, but I think it's very unintuitive if it's the other way round for blog articles. You can extend the theme and override the footer partial for the blog template, to implement this for your deployment!

Oops, my bad. 🤦‍♂️ I forgot to update the version numbers when building the new release. This doesn't affect the functionality, as you've noticed – all things you mentioned should work now, but the old version number is still shown. I've issued a re-release with the correct version number under the same tag since only the version number changed, not the functionality.
