Unknown kapt error while using latest v2.3.10 with multi module setup and ContributesSubcomponent usage #436

Maybe @ZacSweers wants to chime in. To me this doesn't read like an Anvil issue, rather how you use Anvil within your project. Stackoverflow might be a better audience for that. |
No clue |
This is an issue with Dagger which existed in 2.40 and 2.40.1. Your project is using 2.40. Here are the issues for it: It was fixed in 2.40.2. Just update to the current Dagger (2.40.3) and your project will build without issue. |
Oh awesome, thanks @RBusarow. |
facing this issue
|
I try to setup anvil(v2.3.10) with multi module architecture and get this error:
I'm using here mentioned trick to do generic injections for Activities. The compiler fails when i try to combine this
fun activityInjectors(): Map<Class<out Activity>, AnvilInjector<*>>
withfun create(@BindsInstance activity: Activity): ActivityComponent
Note that project compiles when I move all files to single module.
