Hey!

I'm Stephen Rees-Carter, a Laravel security specialist. I do Laravel security audits and penetration testing, and I’ve been building and hacking Laravel apps since 2013.

My current project is Random, a simple toolkit for securely generating random values for common scenarios. I am also working on a new project called Dropbear, which is a PHP & Laravel security toolkit, into which I want to implement as many of my auditing checks and tricks as I can. I want to share it with the community, to we can all benefit from more secure apps.

I'm a dad of two energetic kids and work full time doing security audits, so my free-time to work on open source is limited. Sponsorship for my open source work would allow me to make Dropbear the best security tool for checking the security of any PHP app.

Thanks for your support!

Reaching this goal will allow me to add persistence and caching into Spirit, making it easier to scan sites without causing excess requests, and view results later.
