Currently maintaining the Web backend on Winit and Softbuffer.

My current plan of action:

  • Address all remaining web backend issues in Winit.
  • Address some of the issues in Softbuffer that don't require a long period of design work.
  • Finish and release wasm-worker, a Rust multi-threading library for the Web.
  • Help implement the WASI thread proposal and hopefully standardize thread-local variables for Wasm and WASI (hopefully bringing us one step closer towards stabilizing Wasm Atomics in Rust).
  • Rewrite Fabruic including a WebTransport backend to allow for seamless cross-platform networking code between Desktop and browsers.
