When I first saw a computer at the age of 5, something 'clicked' in my head. Since then I can't stop learning as much as I can about computers and information technology in general. Then, at 11 years old, I came across a book about making videogames, whereupon I forever fell in love with computers...

Over the years I went deeper into the subject of software development, mainly as a hobby, whereby I used all sorts of languages (Java, C, SQL, PHP, JavaScript, etc.), development environments (VIM, Eclipse, IntelliJ) and libraries/interfaces (OpenGL), mainly serving the purpose of game development and sometimes making tiny websites.

Eventually I decided to get an official education as application developer but, due to my autism (high-functioning / early-childhood), I had difficulties finding a training position due to my seriously lacking social skills at the time.

Fortunately, I found a place in a "Berufsbildungswerk", where I then spent the next four years learning even more about all things application development, networking technology and also expanding my social skills.

Afterwards I started working professionally, but keep having burnouts to this day, so I thought I'd try my luck with GitHub Sponsors... (^◡^)
