Hi, I am the maintainer and developer of svg.js and svgdom.
By supporting me you allow me to spend more time on these projects and all related work - e.g. the plugins.

I wrote svgdom for the people who wanted to run svg.js on node. With svgdom you are able to access metrics like getBBox() which are not available on other dom implementations like jsdom. However, svgdom outgrew its cause and is used by many other projects which rely on these metrics or just need an XML compatible dom.
I am curious where the journey goes for both svg.js and svgdom.

In the near future I plan on contributing to the Firefox and Chrome source to get rid of nasty bugs and increase the overall SVG support.

This is enough for me to life and focus on what I want to do: Enhance svg.js and svgdom and push the adoption of new svg features in major browers
