Hi maintainers,

About 1.5months has passed since the last stable release. Based on our release cycle, I'll ship a new package 3.5.0 within 2 weeks. The X-day will be held on 13th or 14th Feb.
Are you ready? If you have any remaining tasks, please let me know.

#8838 must be fixed before shipping 3.5 :-(, else we have to revert #8781

Fortunately there was quick fix at #8840 🎉, I will merge after testing completes...

LaTeX: I have removed 3.5.0 milestone from tasks for which there is no time for me until next week-end. I have no tasks left, there is only #8832 and #8851 left and they are ready for 3.5.0 milestone. And #8854 :)

edit: all clear for me. No tasks left for 3.5.0

edit: except #8877...which better fixes #8838

edit: merged! I am all done for 3.5.0...
