lmod modules: how to hide implicits

Hello.

I'm trying to use lmod environment variables to load packages built via spack. I'm trying to follow the instructions in https://spack.readthedocs.io/en/latest/module_file_support.html#autoloading-and-hiding-dependencies

    # Default configurations if lmod is enabled
    lmod:
      hide_implicits: true
      all:
        autoload: direct
      hierarchy:
        - mpi

however when running module avail it still shows everything that spack has built rather than just the explicitly installed packages. Have I missed something?

Environment is RHEL8.6 and Modules based on Lua: Version 8.7.19

this typically worked for me wihtout hassles.
Must be s.th. very generic, i guess.
DId you rebuild the module tree?

spack module lmod refresh --delete-tree -y

You are right it was something very generic. When testing it I hadn't used the correct path. Once I resolved that it "magically" started working.

@cr-wilson Could you give me a hint, what the problem was with your path? I have the same problem, just with tcl version 5.3.1 and i just don't find the problem.
