• node tests continued. All passing now ✔️
  • Tests were working locally but not on CircleCI. Took some time but finally got it going on CircleCI too. Documented at ethereum/sourcify@d042c55 and prev. commits.
  • We test validation service, server, monitor but should increase the number of tests as most of the new features are not in tests (e.g. hardhat).

Discussions

• Later we can update the root IPFS hash under DNSLink more regularly. Does not cost as in ENS.
• It's not possible to pin via IPNS but with ENS on DappNode so it would be nice to have the root hash updated for DappNode
• IPFS issue with double dot ..ipfs get: tar has invalid root when a filename contains double dot .. ipfs/kubo#8293 . Ligi tried to do an ipfs get and bumped into this issue.
• Devops will reach out to Franzi for email transfer codes. Can take some time but it's in process.

  • Try updating other TXT fields (website, twitter etc.) in the same transaction.
    • Then we can put sourcify.eth on our Twitter name.
• Check the double-dot IPFS issue above.
• Add two additional links to the devops monitoring (if it's returning HTTP: 200 OK) and Ligi will receive a notification if it's down.
