Just posting this here in case anyone else stumbles upon this. It relates to github.com/getkin/kin-openapi

We use additionalProperties: false for a field, however we still can pass additional properties as Open API validation won't complain.

That’s a known bug: getkin/kin-openapi#82
If additionalProperties: false is declared inside anyOf (we do this!) it’s not taken into account.
