Microsoft Compiled HTML Help is a Microsoft proprietary online help format, consisting of a collection of HTML pages, an index and other navigation tools.

Filename extension: chm
Media type: application/vnd.ms-htmlhelp

The magic number is the text ITSF in ASCII.
