Is your feature request related to a problem?

Some users would like to tune the plots manually after export. The current exporting features (export as TIFF, browser screenshot) do not allow that.

Requested solution or feature

It has been proposed to add the possibility to export plots as SVG which each plot element being therefore editable in SVG afterwards.

Alternatives you've considered

  • Export as TIFF only exports the image and not the axes
  • The screenshot feature of the browser generates an ineditable PNG

Additional context

At first glance, this feature should be implemented in the viewer.
