It would be nice to have a way to detect a dead code to be able to determine what to do with it.

maybe https://psalm.dev/docs/running_psalm/configuration/#findunusedvariablesandparams or https://github.com/slevomat/coding-standard#cleaning---detecting-dead-code can be used
