The framework has been in beta and RC recently: https://github.com/phalcon/cphalcon/releases

It'd be nice to be able to install it with phalcon5.

Additionally, I'd really appreciate if it'd work in setup-php as well :)

Added formulae for phalcon5 here.
Support in setup-php is currently in develop branch, it will be in the next release.
