Hi, select2 should also emit some kind of 'ready' event, so that one knows when it's time to interact with its DOM.

I'm having trouble making select2 a usable dropdown selector so we need this event is there anyway that someone implements this ?

Can we just please make this event ?

for years no one cared, every good library has this event why not select2 ?
