What part(s) of the article would you like to see updated?
Web (Actions) destinations do not have access to Insert Functions, as Web (Actions) destinations are configured to send data in Device Mode(data that's sent directly from a user’s device), and in order to be able to utilize an Insert Function the data must be sent in Cloud Mode(data that’s sent through Segment). This is due to Insert Functions residing on Segment's servers which process the data before sending to the destination, and data sent in Device Mode is sent asynchronously to the destination and are not processed by Segment's servers before being sent to the destination.
Additional information
I know that some data can be pulled in from Partner Portal, and probably elsewhere, and I was just wondering if you could add this disclaimer either onto each Web (Actions) destination's FAQ section or as a note somewhere on each Web (Actions) destination's page.
