* there are no backports needed for SciPy `1.5.0` final * set the version number to `1.5.0` (removing the `rc2`) unreleased * remove the `Note:` in the release notes about `1.5.0` not being released yet

Ok, the 32-bit Windows Azure timeout is not related and everything is green so merging. I can't remember if GitHub actions should be running on backport PRs like this, but anyway no evidence of issues from the CI that did run. |
