We should reuse the property-based tests written in the scalacheck sub-project. We will have to adapt the build a bit because it is currently not cross-compatible with dotty and Scala.js.

@julienrf I'm confused what this ticket is about, it dates back to before the collection-strawman repo was merged into scala/scala. should this remain open?

tickets are free to cross borders at will within the scala/* "schengen zone" :-)
