Right now, sequence numbers can be created with time based and block based time-locks encoded within, but there is no way to extract encoded time-locks from sequence numbers without extracting and interpreting the relevant bits as per BIP-68.
It would be nice if there was a new type for relative time-locks that can be used to create sequence numbers and extract relative lock-times from sequence numbers.
