[plugin-replace] Document the values option #814

Rollup Plugin Name: replace

This PR contains:

  • bugfix
  • feature
  • refactor
  • documentation
  • other

Are tests included?

  • yes (bugfixes and features will not be merged without tests)
  • no

Breaking Changes?

  • yes (breaking changes will not be merged unless absolutely necessary)
  • no

If yes, then include "BREAKING CHANGES:" in the first commit message body, followed by a description of what is breaking.

Description

I discovered this option because it was used in the preventAssignment example, but it wasn't documented.

I got the option type from the .d.ts file.

Type: `{ [key: String]: Replacement }`, where `Replacement` is either a string or a `function` that returns a string.
Default: `{}`

To avoid mixing replacement strings with the other options, you can specify replacements in the `values` option:
