PnP Deploy goals

Goals:

• Fill in the gaps in aks-secure-baseline required to create a deployment platform for applications.
• Create guidance and tooling for low friction developer driven application deployments on aks-secure-baseline.
• Infrastructure as code for repeatable deployments of infrastructure with different lifecycles.

Scope:

• Take existing pre-prod environment as-is and deploy on aks-secure-baseline.
• Default single region aks-secure-baseline setup.

Details:

• Recreate current preprod environment(single region) on aks-secure-baseline.
• Sharing what we learn to improve developer experience of using aks-secure-baseline.
• Automate the infrastructure and application provisioning process.

Measurement of success:

• How much time does it take go from nothing to a production AKS environment?
• How much time does it take onboard new applications to the AKS environment?
