Using CSS property "zoom" on body element causes cursor to misplace by zoom amount

I had to use this style on my page to compensate for some design issues

body { zoom: 0.8; -moz-transform: scale(0.8); -moz-transform-origin: 0 0; }

Using the "zoom" property makes the cursor to misplace by the zoom amount (%20). Does anyone have any ideas on how I might be able to solve this?
