Is 'rake native gem' the same as 'rake native' + 'rake gem'? #120

...and in the same vein, is rake cross compile the same as rake cross + rake compile? If so, I think rake native and rake cross ought to be documented separately to reduce confusion. The fact that e.g. both the native and gem tasks can be run in one rake invocation could be mentioned separately once the individual tasks have been explained.

If those particular task combinations are "magic" and don't make sense in isolation, then I think that ought to be mentioned too. If they are magic, then why not use rake native-gem and rake cross-compile instead? That seems less confusing.

I'm very new to Ruby, so there might be some conventions here that I'm missing. I'm sorry in that case.
