Can you expand on this? I am not really sure what are you asking here. Can you maybe provide some examples of the current and expected behavior?

@dragonito let's talk about it again. It's been too long since our discussion of the issue and right now all I come back to, is essentially a duplicate of #1022 and I go down the old #538 rabbit hole.

If I remember correctly, the idea was to collect @deprecated dependencies much like we do @internal.
