Send a custom emoji via the bot

Hey, quick question that I haven't found an answer to yet.
I created a custom emoji using the (telegram) Stickers bot -> https://t.me/addemoji/checkicon.
From what I know (so far, of course), only premium users can send messages with custom emojis. So, can bots too? If not, I would be glad to know how to upgrade the bot's user to a premium one (if possible).

You need to buy this upgrade on fragment. Iirc thats about 10k €.

For real? Telegram premium (for regular users) costs around 33$ per year.
