How to run the same set of tests on different compose files?

For example, I have a single test, but multiple compose files.

    ├── first.yml
    ├── second.yml
    └── test.py

I want to run the test on every compose configuration. Is it possible to do this without copying the tests into a separate directory? Or am I missing something from the documentation?
