馃悰 Bug

I'm trying to use the Pyodide REPL at https://pyodide.org/en/stable/console.html on my iphone to reduce the issue in holoviz/panel#4636 to a minimum reproducible example to report to https://github.com/koenvo/pyodide-http.

But when I've entered and run the first line of code my keyboard will no longer show

To Reproduce

From Safari in an iphone

Expected behavior

I can continue executing code multiple times

Environment

  • Pyodide Version: Latest deployed to Pyodide REPL
  • IOS: 16.4.3

Thanks for the report @MarcSkovMadsen!

Maybe the symptom is slightly different, but I can reproduce that I can't write any command in my Android phone + Chrome, both in 0.23.0 and 0.22.1, while 0.22.0 seems OK.

Probably this issue jcubic/jquery.terminal#859 is related...

Same thing on Android 11, OnePlus 7

I confirm I get this on Android 13 (Pixel 6) under both Chrome and Firefox.

However for me it only occurs if the phone is in "portrait" (ie normal orientation) but if I switch the phone to landscape then the keyboard doesn't disappear (although the experience isn't necessarily great because you often can't see what you're typing with it in that orientation).
