Describe the bug

Pytest 8.1.0 has a breaking change for plugins, and as such nbmake is breaking as shown here:https://github.com/pybop-team/PyBOP/actions/runs/8139178632. Short term fix is to pin pytest to <8.1.0.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

nox -s unit on fresh install.
