Confused about Command properties: create

i want to create instance using userdata by render from Command, but it seem Command not execut when run pulumi up

here is a part of sample

and i get the error response

it seem the file 'init.sh' not be create, how can i create this file before create instance?

Command does run, but it won't run in the order its defined in your program because your using the "Resource" for command and so its lifecycle methods will be invoked asynchronously by the engine. For this case you might be able to just use Run and await that, probably don't even need to write to intermediate files given your just reading it straight back in.

Only tricky thing with run is it doesn't currently have the environment option, so you might want to just use nodes exec/spawn functions.

Scrap that, it does have the option I just missed it. So something like this probably works:

but the stdout is empty when i tested. and have no error message.

What about renderShell1.stderr? I'd suspect either it's not finding "init-tmp" file or that file is empty.

i have test the command is work in my local shell environment
and i use a sample to test, there have no stdout and stderr output

This does actually appear to be broken, I've raised a bug about it at pulumi/pulumi-command#198.
