Better understand different types of provider packages

I'm having trouble understanding the short blurb on each type of pulumi provider package found here. A few specific questions I have are:

What are the "full features of the Pulumi resource model" eluded to with the native package?
What is the difference between the native package and the component package?
What do native packages provide that bridge packages do not?

In general, a deeper explanation of each package type would be appreciated as well.
