Unfortuneatly. I moved to AdonisJS. It's worth to have a look at this nice full featured JS framework (similar to what Laravel, Symfony for PHP offer).

That looks neat if you do want a full featured framework for a new project, but if you're working with something like fastify like I am and you just want templating, I sure wouldn't switch to a whole different framework just to try their homegrown templating.

It's just so sad there's no maintenance love for pug because I love the way it reads so much more than all the other templating languages out there.

And projects like fastify and eleventy can work with it but I'm not going to use something that hasn't seen updates in years. Oh well, maybe someday somebody will revive pug or create something similar!

unless pug becomes the industry standard, it is not optimistic about the future development, because the related technology is developing rapidly and the compatibility of various platforms is a long-term problem. At present, the original writing method may not be humanized, but it is the most stable solution

that's really regrettable
