New version of readline broke multiline insert

After readline updated from 8.0.* to 8.1
ctrl + v - write broken lines

i understand that it can be fixed by replacing new version with old, but anyway sooner or later, will need to update the version

on video 2.3.5 ruby, but i test also on 2.7.2

Can anyone test if this also prevents files from completing?
