Unable to Get the metrics in Grafana

What did you do?

Am able to scrape the metrics and able to see it using curl command curl http://localhost:port/metrics. But unable to see in Grafana , we don't see any errors in console we see the service as up . what could be the issue ?

Are you able to see the metrics when querying prometheus? through its UI for example. If not, you're misconfiguring the target scraping.
Are you able to access other metrics on Grafana? If not there, is a problem with your Grafana<->Prometheus setup.

But at server level using curl command i see the output .
But when i see get "http://localhost:<port_number>/metrics": context deadline exceeded errors in console

I see, but I don't this it's a bug in Prometheus itself and I'm afraid without knowing more about your setup/configuration, we cannot say much.
As I said, you can get better help on the #prometheus slack channel, but you'll need to share more.
