Getting 406 when working with spring boot 3.1.3

1. i have set up a spring boot project
   to work with java 17 , spring boot 3.1.3 and spring cloud 2022.4

	<parent>
		<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
		<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-parent</artifactId>
		<version>3.1.3</version>
		<relativePath/> <!-- lookup parent from repository -->
	</parent>
	<properties>
		<java.version>17</java.version>
		<spring-cloud.version>2022.0.4</spring-cloud.version>
	</properties>

logging to
http://localhost:8080/actuator/prometheus
seems to work fine

2. i run prometheus-2.49.0-rc.1.windows-amd64
   when logging to http://localhost:9090/
   the target respondes with 406

from what i see , my spring server would not reply to get requests with
Accept : plain/text
in the header ..

i thought this solution is an out of the box solution ..

is there a way to make the prometheus to change the header to work with spring boot services ?

Well ,

it seems that the issue is generated if downloading and running the zipkin.jar directly

but if running it in a docker container it works just fine ..

which is a shame since i was trying to avoid working with docker as it slows down my computer ...
