I was surprised to find out there's no solid solution for treating method signatures separate from the rest of code when it comes to line wrapping. It bothers me to no end that even a simple function with as few as two arguments can potentially wrap if the name of the types is long enough.
I feel that keeping the signature horizontal even when the code potentially wraps helps create distinct boundaries and improve readability so I suggest adding a new feature to allow for a maximum line width for method signatures.
I'm specifically talking about typescript but this certainly applies to other languages.
I'd also argue for the same feature could benefit import statements as well but that's less of a concern.
