How to use `postcss.parse` with plugins #1797

Hi,

I've had a hard time finding this:

if (plugins.length > 0) {
  return postcss(plugins).process(css).root
} else {
  return postcss.parse(css)
}

Or how to use .parse with plugins.

Maybe you should document it. I opened this issue to help whoever is looking for it.
