The /Length attribute is associated with some compressed data. If you were allowed to change it the PDF would be corrupted. It has no bearing on the length of the text field. I don't know if or how you can control this with any particular annotation attribute. It's very likely this is behavior varies from PDF editor to editor, and you'll find it difficult to influence. Have a look at the PDF 2.0 or 1.7 reference manual to see if information is available there. |

I have a PDF object that looks like this:
What ends up happening is it renders like this:
Although if i click on the field in my PDF editor, it re-renders into multiple lines:
Is there a way to make it render over multiple lines in the first place?
The only difference I see between the single line one vs the multi-line variant (I clicked on the form field with my PDF editor, then saved it into another file), is that the
/Length
