array_merge never returns null, why you expecting null?

It's just a minimal executable excerpt from a real code.
It can be like this: https://phpstan.org/r/8935a1ef-cbb7-4d8d-9c8d-f16f0f90d63b

Anyway, if a function accepts ?array<mixed>, it must be able to accept array<mixed>, and the PHPStan error must not be generated.
