Comparing a nullable DateTime with a non-nullable DateTime reports method call on null

I'm a seasoned PHP developer, and I can understand why phpstan would complain about the comparison of $dt1 and $dt2. But it complains about the method call. Why?

PHPStan does not understand you're eliminating null with the > comparison. Frankly, many people wouldn't either.

Here you wrote such comparisons with objects of type DateTime are okay, why is NULL during such a loose comparison then not a problem (or understood)?

I guess that > is implemented for nullable scalars but not nullable objects.

What you're experiencing is simply some kind of ommission in TypeSpecifier.php that should be fixed.
