Also drops support for Symfony 4.0 and 4.1 which do not receive bugfixes anymore.

actually yes!

its really doable to upgrade from 4.0 to 4.2 for projects. (supporting LTS 3.4 has value for people stuck on an older version without the budget to migrate their application to 4)
