You should just use the latest, 42.7.x If you have a reason to use 42.6.x then we provide a jar which fixes the CVE |

The changelogs are here: https://jdbc.postgresql.org/changelogs/ Long story short, we more-or-less follow semver for the release versioning:
The set of bugfixes might be different across versions. Typically, we do not back-patch bugfixes to past releases. |

Hello all, I'm trying to understand better the differences between the minor versions, more specifically versions
42.7.x
and42.6.x
.From what I see in maven central (and also in GHSA-24rp-q3w6-vc56) the minor versions
42.7.x
,42.6.x
,42.5.x
,42.4.x
,42.3.x
and42.2.x
seem to be the currently active/supported ones. However it's not clear to me what the differences between are and/or when they are expected to be used. Is there documentation about that specifically?I took a look on the FAQ, where I could find information on the usage of the
42
major version, but I could find information about the minor versions.I took a look on the Download page and the description over there for versions
42.7.3
and42.6.2
seem to be basically the same:Where could I find more information on when each of them,
42.7
and42.6
, should be used? Thanks in advance.
