Hello!

I'm new to Overviewer, and the first few times it worked as expected. But lately, when I want to create a map, a big part of it is missing (the surface is really dark, almost black). I have uploaded a sample screenshot.

I tried to find the problem but was unsuccessful. Can someone help me to solve this issue?

Thank you very much!

Have you try the different render modes?

it's not a render mode thing, it's the lighting data missing or saved in a way overviewer doesn't understand

The main README states ..

PLEASE NOTE: Overviewer is currently unmaintained. PRs will not be merged and issues will not be addressed. The website and repository will remain online and accessible.

Instead please use the new working (“successor”) version of Overviewer supporting 1.20 worlds and textures.
