This issue tracks the work needed to improve test coverage of scorecard-action including e2e tests.

E2E tests:

Setup repos (or use existing ones) in ossf-tests org for varying scenarios (different trigger conditions, private repos, non-main default branch name etc.) and implement #79 (comment) so that failures result in notification on a Slack channel.

Unit tests:

Add unit test coverage for the Golang code for sanity testing.
