Unexpected end of packet

I am trying to encrypt and decrypt buffers, but I get "Unexpected end of packet". Here is my code:

The resultant Buffer from encryption is definitely valid, as I tested it in kleopatra. Any help is appreciated.
Btw, The problem is happening under Node v18

Nevermind, it was a problem in the rest of my code that actually runs the decryption function. Don't have access to a computer just yet but as soon as I can I'm going to fix the issue
