Feature Request

General need

  • That users (teachers and learners) can receive notifications from the forum with a periodicity

  • That users be able to activate and deactivate all notifications both globally and on a case-by-case basis

Focus on the list of notifications that users will receive by category

Note: for all notifications, it is specified for which user profile (teachers, learners or everyone) it is intended

  • At the global level of the forum

    • Summary of unread discussion threads + the list of these threads (for teachers)

    • When the entire forum is locked (for learners)

    • When the thread I created is locked (for learners)

    • When there is a new announcement that is created (for learners)

    • When there is a new discussion thread created (for teachers)

    • When a user is added as a moderator on the forum (for teachers and for the user concerned)

    • When users respond to forum polls (for teachers)

  • At message level

    • When someone tag (@) a user in a message this user receive a notification (for everyone)

    • When someone replies to my message (for everyone)

    • When there is a new message in a thread where I wrote (for everyone)

    • When a teacher replies in the discussion thread I created (for learners)

    • When a teacher replies in the thread I wrote (for learners)
