These are some guide lines to help you out.
When adding buttons, try to ensure these steps:
- Create the button/feature (use default false, to avoid braking existing layouts)
- Try and use ASCII characters for the button icon, if possible.
- Create the settings entry for the button (use default false)
- Add the feature and option to the documentation (readme.md)
- Open a Pull Request at https://github.com/NascHQ/nasc-vscode-mac-touchbar
- Clone the project from github
git clone https://github.com/NascHQ/nasc-vscode-mac-touchbar.git
- Install its dependencies with yarn or npm
cd nasc-vscode-mac-touchbar
yarn install
- Run the editor with your extension
Just click "play" and a new window of the editor will open, running your version of this extension.
