slidesPerView being higher than the available slides doesn't allow me to "view" the remaining slides - swiper element

I currently have a dynamic list that populates a swiper container with slides. On first render it has 22 slides, 21 of those are dynamically inserted based on data from an API, the final slide is a manually inserted one to allow me to use an intersection observer to pull more data.

In the video below you will see it gets stuck on slide 18 of 22, the configuration of slidesPerView is set to 5.

In the second video I have set slidesPerView to 3 and it lets me get to slide 20, rather than the final slide of 22
