Multiple Environments in Parallel

Is there anyway we can run tests on multiple browsers in parallel using the Nightwatch API?

We set up a demo that integrates with Cucumber, but it seems we can only run tests in one browser at a time, this is a real limitation for us. This was supported in the old nighwatch-cucumber npm package?

Any help/advice would be much appreciated on how we can get around this if it's not supported and is this likely to be supported going forward?

As far as I know, that's not possible when using the nightwatch-api package (which isn't maintained by us). But we are looking at developing our own integrated cucumber plugin so it might be available soon.

Not sure yet, but hopefully in a month or two. Can you give us some more details on what is missing in the current approach you're using? Is it just parallelism that's not working?

Yes, for us it's that we can't test multiple browsers/envs at the same time (which you can currently do using Nightwatch alone)

So, in our current implementation which is based on https://nightwatch-api.netlify.app/cucumber it seems we can only test one browser/environment at a time;

using multiple envs (like we do for Nightwatch JS) is not supported;

chrome,firefox,safari,ie
